     Jirjis bin-Rajmus falls in love with the captive woman of an Ifrit. When the Ifrit finds out he kills the woman  and turns the Kalandar into an Ape. The ape  escapes and is eventually is purchased by a King. The Kings daughter can see that the ape is a man and learns that he has been  enchanted by the Ifrit. She confronts  him and with her own magic defeats him turning him into grain. Unfortunately, she is also defeated and turned to ash.
