The Fisherman And The Jinn
One of the best-known tales of the Thousand and One Nights. In this tale, the fisherman finds a jug while fishing and when he opens the jug he discovers a Jinn has been imprisoned inside. However, instead of granting wishes the Jinn offers to grant the fisherman his choice of the manner of death in which he will receive.
The fisherman tricks the Jinn into returning to the jug and when he does the Jinn begins to bargain and after several stories, the Jinn convinces the fisherman he will help him. The Jinn brings the fisherman to a lake with many brightly colored fish and tells him to take them to the Sultan. The Sultan investigates the lake and finds a city and it's prince are being controlled by a sorceress. The Sultan commands her to return the lake and the people to the way they were. When she does the Sultan kills her.
